Each month for a portrait photographer or any photographer is a new convince with new inspiration. Inspiration is all around us all the time. You can come up with new ideas from people you meet, places you go and observations you make. Just to take a look around and observe the beauty of nature surrounding us everywhere. For instance, spring is very often considered the most beautiful time of the year. It is refreshing, it’s colorful and it beautiful to photograph! Spring is so fun for me as a portrait photographer, if it is doing wedding portrait photography, families or children you can really get the colors and or the sun shinning in just the right way to make a great work of art.
When photographing people during spring you want to look at the weather…it should be getting warmer, but there is still a chance of rain. You will need to plan when to take the photos around the weather (if it is overcast and looking like rain its perfect) But you doing want to try to got out in the rain and get all wet. If there was a storm waiting till after can create the most beautiful sky. The lighting during the spring is very important. When you are photographing portraits, you could use the fill in flash or additional lighting to even out the colors and light in a photo or practice and get good with using the environment to create the shadows and light for you.
