Most People only want the best for their wedding and that is understandable. That is why people are (a lot of the time) very meticulous when it comes to wedding planning. For most its fare to say times are hard. With this thought in mind, thinking of ways on how to cut down on your expenses as you go about the planning phase is important.
First make a checklist of what you want to happen and the things you need to acquire for your wedding. If you already have, look at it again and see if there are ways on how you can lower the total expenses. Here are some tips that you can think about as you go about this quest.
1. Find time to focusing on the things that you have to deal with when it comes to the event. If you can go and visit certain places yourself, then do it. You can get a wedding coordinator and yes, things are going to be a lot easier on your part if there is someone who is managing everything for you and your only job is to approve or reject their choices. But if you have time on your hands, do it yourself you might as well. You can search for the right church, venue, providers of the materials that you will need on the wedding among other things.
This is a lot of hard work but I would delegate some of the tasks to family or your made of honor. Because its your wedding I would take the time to to make it more memorable buy managing things on your own. By personally attending to your needs, you will have an idea of how else can you save in the process. If you can provide your guests with good food and good fun, they won’t notice that you are on a tight budget at the event.
2. Scout for various providers of the different materials and other things that you will need during the event. This can be accomplished online. Or I have some great places you should take a look at here in this post. There are also many websites that contain database of different providers of what you are looking for. By browsing these sites, you will have an idea of what certain packages would cost and you will be able to compare the given prices of the different stores and service providers. Keep in mind what is most important to you! If you can allow a little extra for the things that are most important to you it will benefit you. Some things are the worth not going with the cheapest! (Photography, cakes, hair,)
These things are noted because photography is for a lifetime of memories that you will have after the day has passed. You want your photos to capture the story of that special day! The cake can look good and taste like cardboard or I have seen cakes that made the bride cry because they just did not look like it should have. And hair if fixed just right for your face can make all the difference in how you look and feel!
3. Ask your friends who have been into this kind of preparation for tips and advices about how you can save. You can get crafty and create your own table settings and themes. You can find lots of ideas on how to do this and ideas on looks that you love on line. Public forums online can help you that tackle this subject.
By saving money during the wedding planning, you will feel good about what you have accomplished. Here are some of the places I have worked with and love.
Hope this Helps you have a great wedding and helps you save some money!
