Improve your photography with careful attention to framing…
Look into the corners of the viewfinder to see what is in the frame. Do you need all that background? Can you get closer to your subject ? Would the picture look better as an upright or landscape? And last but not least what is in the back ground? The most common mistake people make when taking pictures is not filling the frame with the subject. If it’s a photo of mommy and baby playing, let’s just see mommy, baby and what they are doing, not half the living-room and a box of diapers and the TV with a small mommy and baby shaped blob in the middle. Take a moment to glance around the viewfinder to see what you have got at the edges and especially in the corners. Watch out for clutter in the background, that light stands growing out of mommy’s head. Make sure that everything in the viewfinder is there because you want it in the photo. A lot of people never, ever turn their camera on it’s side and shoot an upright picture (portrait). Play with it and you will see how much better the photo looks when you shoot your friend just standing for a photo with the camera in an upright position. What a difference it can make to the picture. If you are taking a picture of one person then it is essential to shoot upright, you waste so much of the picture area at the sides if you don’t.Tags: 35mm, action, advertising, affordable photography, affordable photogrpahy austin tx, Americana, Art, austin photographer, Austin Wedding Photographer, Austin Wedding Photography, automotive, available light, awkward, beauty, best photo, black & white, camera, canon, captured moment, children’s portraits, Color, conceptual, cool, crunchy (super sharp), design, digital, digital photography, DSLR, Engagement portraits, engagement portraits austin tx, Engagements, fashion, film, fine art, food, grainy, great casting, gritty, heavily lit, high contrast, high production value, hotography, interior, landscape, landscape photogra, large format, lit, location, low production value, lyrical, macro, medium format, models, muted color, nature, nike, NIKON, off moment, ohot, outdoor, over lit, photography, photojournalist, portrait, props, quirky, raw, real people, saturated, sets, shoots children, shoots men, shoots women, slick, sports, stark, still life, studio, Things to do in Austin, tight, trashy, travel and leisure-e, urban, vintage, Wedding Photographer, wedding photography, weird, [hy maco photography
